| The Room for You Foundation |
Not only is Michelle Almeida a Certified Default Resolutions Specialist and licensed realtor; she is also the founder of the Room for You Foundation. Michelle loves to decorate homes and has done this professionally. She provides expert home staging and room makeover services to her real estate clients an has become known as the 'Room Makeover Queen'. Michelle understands the importance of helping someone create a retreat within their home - a place of solace that warms their heart and brings comfort mostly using what you already have.
Michelle founded the Room for You foundation, where she extends her staging and design services to individuals and families in need. The foundation gives at-risk families and children a sense of hope, peace and a fresh start, by redesigning a room into a retreat, a place they can relax and regroup to help them get through a difficult time and to know they are not alone. The Room for You foundation has partnered with The Fresh Start After Divorce Mentoring Program, The National Association of Divorced Women and Children, The Happy Wednesday Foundation, and The Massachusetts National Guard Family Readiness Group and is currently working on a room for a local family coping with their child's terminal illness.

It is the Room Makeover Queen and the Room for You Foundation's desire to bring a smile to the face of a young child or sibling of a child facing illness or whose parent has been deployed, or to a family facing tragedy or difficult times. Having a room done just for that person, a space that reflects what he or she loves can bring peace and joy to someone's life. That is the goal and the mission of the Room for You Foundation. The Foundation hopes to do this for as many families as we possibly can. With the continued support of local businesses and communities we can and we will.
